Tecno has officially confirmed the launch of its Phantom V Flip 5G smartphone in India, scheduled for September 22. This clamshell foldable smartphone will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Moto Razr 40 in the Indian market.
The teaser indicates that the foldable smartphone will be available for purchase on the Amazon India website and hints at a stylish purple color variant.
Expected Specifications of the Tecno Phantom V Flip:
According to tipster Paras Guglani, the upcoming Tecno Phantom V Flip (model number AD11) will be offered in Film White, Minimal Black, and Periwinkle Purple color variants.
It is expected to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED inner display with a resolution of 2640 x 1080 pixels and a 1.32-inch AMOLED cover screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. Both displays are anticipated to offer a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
As per a previous report by Pricebaba, the Tecno flip phone is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, offering 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
It is expected to house a 4,000 mAh battery and a convenient Type-C charging port. The smartphone might run on the Android 13 operating system.
In terms of dimensions, when unfolded, it is projected to measure 72.35mm x 74mm x 7.05mm, while when folded, it is estimated to have a thickness of 15.1mm.
Competitors in this segment include the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, starting at Rs 99,999, and the Moto Razr 40, available at Rs 59,999.
It's worth noting that Tecno recently introduced another foldable smartphone called the Tecno Phantom V Fold, starting at Rs 88,888 in India.
