Aprilia has officially introduced its latest high-performance motorcycle, the Aprilia RS 457, which has been launched globally, with India being among the initial markets to receive it.

This impressive motorcycle was developed through a collaborative effort between the testing team in Baramati, Maharashtra, India, and the engineering team at Aprilia's headquarters in Noale, Italy. The production of this motorcycle will take place at Piaggio India's manufacturing facility in Maharashtra.

The motorcycle boasts a dynamic and sporty design, reminiscent of its predecessors, featuring aerodynamic panels and an eye-catching twin-pod LED headlamp assembly.

Its sporty and performance-oriented character is evident from all angles, featuring a meticulously crafted fuel tank and a split-seat arrangement that creates the appearance of a single-seat design.

Under the hood, the Aprilia RS 457 is powered by a robust 457cc liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine, equipped with dual camshaft timing and four valves per cylinder, capable of generating an impressive 48 bhp of power.

The motorcycle also features a 270-degree connecting rod assembly that delivers a sporty exhaust note.

For its suspension, it is equipped with 41 mm USD forks at the front, offering 120 mm of travel and preload adjustability, while the rear features a pre-load adjustable monoshock with a sturdy steel swingarm and 130 mm of wheel travel.

Braking is top-notch with a 320 mm front disc, paired with a ByBre radial-mount 4-piston caliper, and ByBre caliper brakes at the rear, complemented by a two-channel ABS system with dual usage maps.

The Aprilia RS 457 comes loaded with advanced technology, including a Ride by Wire system with three riding modes, three levels of traction control, and the option to disable interference with power and torque delivery.

Additionally, an optional quickshifter will be available. The motorcycle also features a 5-inch TFT control instrument cluster and user-friendly handlebar controls.

With an impressive tally of 297 Grand Prix World Championship victories, Aprilia has firmly established its legacy in the motorsports industry. The latest addition to this storied heritage, the RS 457, is poised to create a lasting impact in the history of racing.
